Nickel City Hockey
Association
All rep hockey for the 2011/12 season will be governed by the
Nickel City Hockey Association.
The VEPHA has been granted a one year leave of absence from the NOHA, and
as such, we
will not be entering any teams in the Nickel District League for the
coming season. All Valley
East players who wish to play rep hockey must therefore register with the
Nickel City Hockey
Association.
Following (or towards the end of) this
initial trial season, we will hold another membership
meeting to determine whether we feel that this experiment has been a
success or a failure.
Our membership will then be given the opportunity to decide whether or not
we wish to
continue as a part of the Nickel City Hockey Association. The families of
Valley East players
playing rep hockey within the Nickel City Hockey Association will be
contacted with details of
this meeting.

Election of Officers for 2011/2012
As the VEPHA is taking a one year leave of absence from the NOHA,
those in attendance
decided to leave the current board in place for this year, rather than
having an election at this
time.
The Board of Directors.
